Hennessey has a new event center, it was recently named the Eagle Event Center. The finishing touches are still going into the gymnasium, it is projected to finish in May 2020.  This beautiful addition to the school doubles as a gymnasium and also a community storm shelter. This building will also save the school district a lot of money because it is energy efficient and low maintenance to upkeep.
