Forrest Petal School District in MS is no stranger to Tornadoes. When they heard about Monolithic Dome storm shelters that could withstand an F5 tornado, they were on board. So they built five storm shelters around the city of Hattiesburg MS and surrounding communities. The school district trying to do the most good for the whole area, built one dome, adjacent to five schools. During the school year, they will be used as a gymnasium and extra space for the schools, while also open to the public as a storm shelter. Each dome used a very similar design: clean, simple, and beautiful.
